New Ladies Night

Thursday is the new ladies club night. Typically from 6.30-9.00.

Sandra, the membership secretary, is organising a ladies club night. The ladies meet at the club around 6.30pm and play “round robin” format so that everyone gets lots of court time. Everyone is welcome whether they are club members or not: costs are £2 for members and £4 for non-members. If you want to find out more, express an interest or just have a chat about the standard, get in touch by e-mail in the first instance at the following addresses: memsec@galasquashclub.co.uk or enquiry@galasquashclub.co.uk

Affiliation to Scottish Squash

Gala Squash and Racketball Club are pleased to announce we are once again affiliated to Scottish Squash and racketball and look forward to working with SSRL and indeed BSLT in restoring the club to it’s former glory. Scottish Squash are apparently happy as well, since they made us the focus of a recent press release and gave us a prominent position on their website:

http://www.scottishsquash.org/26-news/63-news3

Scottish Squash and Racketball Limited (SSRL) is the national governing body for the sports of squash and racketball in Scotland. SSRL was originally established in 1936 and is a member of both the European Squash Federation (ESF) and the World Squash Federation (WSF).

Contributions welcome

Any club members out there who fancy themselves as journalists? We are always looking for people to contribute to the “latest news” section of our website. Most posts are about club business, but anything from the world of squash and/or racketball is of interest. Speak to any committee member to find out how you can send in your contributions.
